21 months later… It’s done.

Two hip-hop heavyweights, Curren$y and Freddie Gibbs have been teasing a joint project since the top of 2017. Now, 21 months later, the project, still entitled FETTI but now simply in all capitals to keep up with trends, has been completed.

According to Gibbs, the album was completed in two days, and from the snippet he posted, they were two days well spent.

With Curren$y being one of the most prolific rappers of our time, and Freddie Gibbs sitting comfortably on music, choosing to release it only when he is ready, 21 months seems like a reasonable amount of time it would take the two to connect.

While FETTI was wrapped in two days, we still do not have a release date. Let’s hope it doesn’t take another 21 months to hit streaming services.

Update: The project, produced in-full by Alchemist, is currently scheduled for release on October 31.
