Yesterday, Pioneer DJ released its newest DJ controller, the DDJ-400. The Pioneer DJ DDJ-400 is the company’s all-new entry-level controller for Rekordbox DJ, with more professional DJ features at an affordable price.
The controller features a new song selection mode and is also compatible with the new tutorial feature in Rekordbox DJ, which explains basic equipment operation step by step. Priced at only $250, this controller is an affordable product, featuring a familiar layout with the same buttons and knobs that are often found on the ‘club-ready’ DJM Mixers and CDJ decks.
The DDJ-400 also comes bundled with the full Rekordbox DJ software and removes the more complicated three-button/knob effect sections at the top of the controller, favoring a more deck oriented Loop/Cue section.
These new features make the Pioneer DJ DDJ-400 more user and beginner friendly than previous Rekordbox entry-level controllers.
