Numark NDX800 Users Get Free Traktor LE

For all the DJ's out there who were lucky enough to scoop up a Numark NDX800 Media controller can now go to Numark's website to get a free copy of Native Instruments Traktor LE software to take advantage of the unit's MIDI capabilities. Users of the Numark NDX800 can use it in conjunction with the Traktor LE software by connecting it to a computer with a single USB cable so the music on the computer can be controlled by the NDX800. Hot on the heels of the Numark NDX800 multi-media player, Numark has just announced the "bigger brother" (or successor), the NDX900 USB DJ Controller. The Numark NDX900 is capable of playing CD's, USB Mass Storage Media, and is a powerful USB DJ controller that can be used with almost any DJ software. The NDX900 comes bundled with Traktor LE and will be ready to go straight out the box, but there will be presets for Traktor Pro 2 and Virtual DJ at the time of launch. Just last week I put out a video showing the Traktor Kontrol S4 DJ controller working with external decks using timecode in order to operate all four decks simultaneously with a lot more control. This video was done on Traktor Pro 2 at the time, but now Native Instruments is giving away a FREE "Scratch Upgrade Kit" which will allow users to mix and scratch with timecode via the directly connected turntables or CD decks.
