Pioneer Announces DDJ-RX DDJ-RZ & Rekordbox 4.0!

Early this morning Pioneer DJ hit the industry with some serious news. First, the new Rekordbox 4.0 software was revealed as a fully-fledged DJ software that will work with all Pioneer current DJ controllers and players and will soon include upgrade paths for Video plug-ins and DVS plug-ins for vinyl and CD timecode users. Next, the Pioneer team announced two brand new controllers that will work with the new Rekordbox 4.0 software called the Pioneer DDJ-RZ and DDJ-RX.

Next, the Pioneer team announced two brand new controllers that will work with the new Rekordbox 4.0 software called the Pioneer DDJ-RZ and DDJ-RX. Both the new software and new hardware looks eerily similar to the Serato offerings. The DDJ-RZ and DDJ-RX seem to be almost mirror images of the DDJ-SZ and DDJ-SX controllers that only work with Serato. They will undoubtedly have the same or very similar features and workflows but this time everything will be in-house Pioneer. Pioneer DDJ-SB Tutorial [Video]

Pioneer DJ has recently released a brand new beginner-level Digital DJ controller for their Serato lineup called the DDJ-SB. This new compact and USB-Powered controller has the familiar 16 Performance Pads layout, Slip-Mode, built-in Low Pass/High Pass filter knobs, and comes bundled with Serato DJ Intro for the excellent street price of only $300. We're currently working on the DDJ-SR review, so the DDJ-SB review will just have to wait in line. In the meantime, Pioneer has just released a slew of new tutorial videos to get owners started off on the right path.

[Video] Pioneer DJ Announces the DDJ-SR Two-Channel DJ Controller

Pioneer DJ is steadily rolling out brand new products that work in perfect harmony with the new Serato DJ Software. Last week they unveiled the new Pioneer DJM-900SRT and the DDJ-SP1 that will work with the new Serato DJ 1.5.0 update and today they announced the new DDJ-SR which is a 2-channel Digital DJ controller that also controls the Serato DJ software. The Pioneer DDJ-SR is essentially a trimmed down two-deck version of the DDJ-SX which controls four decks of Serato DJ. The new DDJ-SR is more compact than the DDJ-SX and adds a new PAD PLUS button that gives the 16-performance pads even more function.

[Video] Pioneer DDJ-WeGO Announced!

Just yesterday Denon DJ announced that they were producing a new all-in-one DJ controller aimed at the entry-level or beginner DJ market who may not want to spend an arm and a leg on this new-found hobby. Pioneer DJ has also jumped on the entry-level DJ controller bandwagon with their own announcement earlier today of the all-new DDJ-WeGO. This new all-in-one Digital DJ Controller is clearly aimed at beginners with five-color combinations to choose from, a limited number of controls, and a low price. [Video] Pioneer Announces XDJ-AERO DJ Controller

Fresh off the heels of yesterday's new announcement made by Pioneer DJ Division regarding the release of the new DDJ-ERGO-K (Limited Edition); Pioneer has kicked it up another notch by announcing the new Pioneer XDJ-AERO Wireless Digital DJ Controller which can playback and DJ music from any Wi-Fi device such as smartphones, iPads, laptops, or any other device that is capable of using Pioneer's music managing software Rekordbox. The XDJ-AERO can also function as a standalone mixer, as a HID controller for Virtual DJ, and as a MIDI controller for Traktor or Serato. Check out the video, press release and our words inside.

Pioneer DDJ-WeGO3 Serato DJ Intro Demo [Video]

Pioneer has just released the third iteration in their entry-level DJ controller called the Pioneer DDJ-WeGO3. Long ago, we reviewed the original DDJ-WeGO and it was a great controller for any new DJ and it had versatility to work with many different software. The DDJ-WeGO3 continues where the original left off with a new sleeker design, stronger construction, and an included iOS lightning cable that also charges the iOS device while in use. Pioneer DDJ-SB2 Controller [Video]

Earlier this morning Pioneer DJ has just announced the new DDJ-SB2 entry-level Serato DJ controller. The latest iteration of the original Pioneer DDJ-SB that we reviewed last year includes all the same features with the addition of Gain control knobs, line level meters, the Pad Trans beat effect, and four-deck control.
