Vic Mensa - Shakedown '99

  • Artist: Vic Mensa
  • Track: Shakedown '99
  • Producer: Blended Babies
  • Album: Unreleased

Last Sunday night, millions of viewers were able to catch a crouching Vic Mensa flex his singing chops on the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special, when he joined Kanye West and Sia (both similarly hunched down) for a claustrophobic live performance of Ye’s newest single Wolves. Today, we get another taste of the Save Money emcee's crooning, as production team Blended Babies has decided to liberate the laid-back and soulful Shakedown ’99. This previously-unreleased collaboration was recorded in Los Angeles sometime before Mensa’s Booth-acclaimed street album, INNANETAPE, was released. Fans of the up-and-comer should be excited for what he has in store for later this year.
