Donnie Trumpet ft. Chance the Rapper & Vic Mensa - Zion
- Artist: Nico Segal
- Track: Zion
- Feat. Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa
- Producer: Nico Segal and Emilio Chestevez
- Album: Donnie Trumpet
Previously featured under the name Nico Segal as one-seventh of (now defunct) Windy City crew Kids These Days, Donnie Trumpet throws his hat into the solo ring with debut single Zion. Named after the fictional city from the Matrix series (itself, of course, a reference to ancient Jerusalem), this record features appealingly mellow production by the headliner in conjunction with Emilio Chestevez. While Donnie's horn is the star of the show, guest verses from rising star Chance the Rapper and ex-crewmate Vic Mensa ensure that lyrical heads will stay entertained. Peter Campbell directs the joint's understated, crepuscular visuals. Watch for Donnie Trumpet's self-titled solo debut to drop digitally next Tuesday, the 25th.
