SaveMoney’s Towkio Joined by Vic Mensa, Joey Purp on “Community Service 2!” EP

After a slew of well-received singles, the Chicago emcee delivers his first project in over a year.

Chicago's SaveMoney crew has had a busy year full of quality releases, from Chance The Rapper's hugely popular Coloring Book "mixtape" to Vic Mensa's long-awaited There's A Lot Going On EP to the more recent, critically-acclaimed iiiDrops from Joey Purp.

Today, Towkio joins in on the fun with the release of his new EP, Community Service 2!, the sequel to his 2013 debut and his first project since last year's highly-praised .Wav Theory.

Towkio's latest effort features seven original tracks, including previously-released singles "G W M" (with Mensa), "Playin Fair" (with Purp), and "Tear Drop." (His DJBooth-exclusive "Body Bags Freestyle" with Joey Purp, recorded live at Audiomack Studios in Austin, Texas during SXSW, sadly did not make the track list.)

While the original Community Service featured production solely from producer Mojek, part two brings with it boardwork from Carter Lang, Garren, Kenny Segal, Knox Fortune, Mr. Carmack, Peter Cottontale and Smoko Ono.
