AWAR ft. Troy Ave - Cadillac Grills

Posted about 2 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Vanderslice
Album:

If you see a fleet of custom Caddys rolling through the streets of the Big Apple, there’s a good chance you’re looking at AWAR and his clique. On single numero uno off his next street release, the unsigned Booth regular and his NYC neighbor, Troy Ave, come together to show off their gleaming Cadillac Grills. To accompany the collaborators’ braggadocious back-and-forth, project co-headliner Vanderslice cooks up one of the catchiest beats I’ve heard in a hot minute, slicing and dicing an addictive keyboard loop over leisurely percussion. Featuring additional guest appearances from Freddie Gibbs, Roc Marciano, BJ the Chicago Kid and more, AWAR and Vanderslice’s The Winning Team LP is scheduled for independent release on Tuesday, July 8.
