Elijah Blake ft. Rick Ross & Game - Sing For Me

None (Promo Single)

Relationships work best when the partners have shared interests, so it should come as no surprise that R&B singer Elijah Blake‘s significant other is as anxious to show off her pipes as he is to show off his. To quote the Def Jam signee’s latest promo single, “She just wanna Sing for Me.” As Blake pays tribute to his girl’s vocal talents (particularly as manifested in the bedroom), co-producers The Midi Mafia, Fayo and Chill flip a Chipmunk-pitched sample from Rose Royce’s I’m Going Down—also the source material for Cam’ron‘s 2002 hit, Oh Boy. Guest 16s from MMG head honcho Rick Ross and West Coast mainstay Game bookend the cut. Sing is unattached to any larger set. While you wait for further details on Blake’s 2014 plans, why not take a listen to his last feature, 2013’s Towers of Tokyo?
