Fiend (aka International Jones) ft. Wais P - Drop Top Chevy

Posted 2 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Drum Gang
Album:
KeEPYACoOL

Lately, old-school Chevrolets seem to be making a comeback in the rap game. In February, we heard hip-hop heavyweight Rick Ross reminisce about his old Box Chevy in a pre-album promo cut, and Funk Volume signee Jarren Benton expressed his affinity for Cadillacs and Chevys on a May video single. Today, New Orleans representative Fiend becomes the third rhymesayer of 2013 to pay tribute to the classic brand, hopping into his Drop Top Chevy on a freshly-minted mixtape single. The Drum Gang handle production, flipping a string-laced sample as the emcee shows off his immaculate whip. Brooklyn’s biggest pimp, Wais P., rides shotgun. Like what you’re hearing? Then keep it locked; Fiend’s Sleepy Bear Tees-sponsored street album, KeEPYACoOL, has yet to receive a drop date, but we’ll keep you posted on the project as further details emerge.
