Rick Ross - Box Chevy

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
D-Rich
Album:
Mastermind

These days, you can catch Rick Ross cruising the Magic City streets in a blue Lexus, but it wasn’t always so. Before building his Maybach Music Group empire, the emcee got where he needed to go in a comparatively humble (but still fly) Box Chevy.  On the lead single off studio album number six, Ross approaches his favorite topic—his success in the game, with all the worldly wealth that entails—from a fresh angle, conjuring up images of his humble beginnings to make his current high-rolling lifestyle seem all the sweeter. A clamorous trap beat by frequent collaborator D-Rich backs the rap mogul as he spits a condensed account of his journey from rags to riches (with heavy emphasis on the riches). Does this record bode well for Ricky Rozay’s next LP? As always, y’all get to lay down the final verdict in the comment section. Either way, you can keep your browsers locked for further news and singles leading up to the currently-unscheduled release of Mastermind.
