Jamla Records ft. Talib Kweli, Elzhi & Phonte - No Competition

Khrysis
Album:

Which independent label currently boasts the all-around dopest stable of hip-hop artists? It would be an exaggeration to say that there’s No Competition, but if you answered “Jamla Records,” I certainly wouldn’t argue with you. In addition to talented signees, 9th Wonder‘s label boasts some high-quality connects, as evidenced by the impressive guest lineup on this newly-released compilation single. Over some soulful in-house production by Khrysis, Little Brother alumnus Phonte goes toe-to-toe with Brooklyn vet Talib Kweli and Slum Village alumnus eLZHi. Fans will be able to find this lyrically dazzling collabo, Rapsody‘s Illuminaughty (Chinchilla) and much more on Jamla Is the Squad, scheduled for release on Tuesday, January 28.
