June ft. Big K.R.I.T - Big Pimpin

Posted 2 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Teddy Walton

Featuring the most memorable beat of Timbaland‘s career as well as classic guest verses from both members of UGK, Big Pimpin is one of the most beloved records in Jay Z‘s catalog. In other words, Memphis buzzmaker June showcased some serious cojones in borrowing its name for his latest feature. There’s no filling Hova’s shoes, of course, but listeners lured in by the audacious title won’t be disappointed by what they hear. Featuring the headliner’s caked-up braggadocio and a hazy, synth-driven beat by Teddy Walton (June’s younger brother), this cut has all the makings of a Southern trunk banger. Do I even need to specify that Big K.R.I.T.‘s freaky, car-crazy guest bars sound right at home here? I thought not. Big Pimpin isn’t part of a larger project, but we’ll keep you posted on June’s 2014 plans as further details emerge.
