One Chance - Sexin on You

Untitled (TBD)

Last we heard from One Chance, the Nappy Boy r&b foursome had teamed up with their label boss to make ladies an offer they can’t refuse, promising to “Save You” from a Cinderella-esque life of toil and getting hit on by fat dudes. If there were ever any doubt as to what Mic Gordon, Rob Brent, Jon Gordon and Courtney Vantrease really had on their minds, though, their solo Booth debut should dispel all doubt; the crooners’ primary interest is, in their own words, “Sexin on You” – and if a baby or two gets made in the process, all the better! Backed by the sizzling synth/piano/handclap production of Young Fyre, One Chance fill us in on just how serious they are about getting it on, along the way showcasing some strong vocals and quite a few inspired come-ons (“I know you need fixin’, baby you my vixen, and I’ma hit it so hard that your body start to listen…”). This bedroom burner is simple in concept, but undeniably seductive in practice – right, Booth readers? If you’re digging it you’ll want to stay tuned for the latest on the group’s forthcoming full-length, which has yet to receive a title or release date.
