ProbCause x The O’My’s - One of a Kind

C. Lang and The O'My's
Bonafyde Compilation

Both prominent members of the Windy City underground (and recent collaborators with SaveMoney ringleader Chance the Rapper), emcee ProbCause and funk-soul ensemble The O’Mys‘s finally join forces on new single One of a Kind. Over C. Lang and The O’Mys jazzy live-band grooves, Prob shows off the hyperkinetic flow and unhinged lyrical sensibility that set him apart from the competition. Maceo Haymes lends his unique, weathered vocals to the chorus. If you’re feeling it, you can rest assured that One of a Kind won’t live up to its title; the collaborators assure us that it’s just the first of many joint releases. In the meantime, you can look forward to more fresh cuts from the Chi’s best and brightest on the forthcoming Bonafyde Compilation, due out in February.
