Pugs Atomz ft. Sabira Jade - Temporary

Producer:
DJ Vadim
Album:
Benetton Days

Update: “Temporary” is no longer available for stream.

Early this month, Pugs Atomz lit the fuse on his next full-length with an inaugural song release called Tempo. If you’re anything like me, you did a quick double-take when you saw that the follow-up bore the eerily reminiscent title Temporary. Thankfully, the two songs are as different in content as they are similar in name. Whereas its predecessor had a stripped down, street-ready feel, this cut’s vibe is more futuristic and dancefloor-oriented. DJ Vadim, Pugs’ production partner on Shootem Down and Wind It Up, layers throwback synth voices over hip-swiveling percussion as the Windy City rhymesayer rocks the mic in characteristically bombastic, braggadocious fashion. The Electric crewmate Sabina Jade contributes some spoken-word vocals to the bridge. You’ll be able to find Temporary and countless other quality cuts on Atomz’ Benetton Days LP, dropping later this month via Tokyo Dawn Records.
