ShayGray - Water Gun

Producer:
Optimist
Album:
None (Promo Single)

The mercury is dropping as summer shades into fall, but there’s still time to squeeze in a few Super Soaker fights before the risk of hypothermia intervenes. If you do decide to bust out the artillery, may I suggest ShayGray‘s latest feature as a soundtrack for the battle? On the Vice-premiered Water Gun, his first feature since June’s Hipster Hype, the Tel Aviv representative sets aside heady concepts and social commentary to simply go H.A.M. on the mic. Optimist handles production, crafting a bass-heavy beat peppered with chopped vocal samples and “Middle Eastern”-style synth riffs. This is just a loosie, but you can keep it locked to the Booth for all the latest from ShayGray… including his upcoming contribution to our exclusive freestyle series.
