Statik Selektah ft. Lecrae, Posdnuos (of De La Soul) & Termanology - Game Break

Producer:
Statik Selektah
Album:

On 1996 classic Sky’s the Limit, Notorious B.I.G. reflected on his (soon to be cut tragically short) future, spitting: “If the game shakes me or breaks me / I hope it makes me a better man / Take a better stand.” Inspired by those lines, Statik Selektah has come together with a few of his talented connects to craft Game Break, a joint intended to school the young and impressionable on how to rise above their circumstances and survive the perils of the block. Over the Boston DJ/producer’s airy piano loops and boom-bap rhythm, Christian hip-hop phenom Lecrae, De La Soul member Posdnous and Beantown street veteran Termanology share a treasure-trove of hard-won lyrical wisdom. Feeling it? You’ll be able to find Game Break, previous features 21 & Over and Funeral Season and many more fresh cuts on Statik’s Extended Play LP, dropping June 18, via Showoff Records.
