Terrace Martin ft. Problem - Something Else

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
9th Wonder & Terrace Martin
Album:

Legendary producer 9th Wonder, who will be spinning at DJBooth’s SXSW event in March, is well-known for his soulful, sample-heavy beats. On his latest effort behind the boards 9th takes a trip out West, influenced by Cali natives Terrace Martin and Problem. Terrace, who you may have recently seen on SNL with Kendrick Lamar, co-produces his record, sharing some of his hometown flavor with the Jamla head honcho and longtime collaborator. While the production screams carefree cruising, Martin, with his casual approach, and Problem share in the heartbreak of their respective ladies who wanted Something Else. As you wait for Martin’s long-overdue, but on-the-horizon 3 Chord Fold album, check out Why, featured last month.
