North-of-the-border buzzmaker Tona recently took a breather from rap, but fans will be happy to hear that he’s f*cking with it again. That’s not a figure of speech—I mean, he’s literally f*cking with it. As he proudly announces on his latest mixtape single, “I’m that music Nympho.” Over SYKE emcee/producer Rich Kidd‘s synth-brass grooves (accented with a sample from Kanye‘s verse on Drake‘s Forever), the artist offers a detailed description of his recording process, from foreplay, to the money shot, to the birth of a fresh new record. Dope as the result of this love affair may be, I’m really glad that I’m enjoying it in digital form—I have a feeling a physical copy would be a little sticky. In any case, those feeling Nympho can stay tuned for the latest on Tona’s SILVERSPRING CRESCENT LP, which as yet lacks a solid drop date.
