Zilla Rocca & The Shadowboxers ft. Roc Marciano - Young Blood

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Has-Lo
Album:
No Vacation For Murder

Late last week, Zilla Rocca made his long-awaited return to our pages with Blood on Blood Converse, a cut off his and The Shadowboxers’ recently-released Weak Stomach 2 EP. Today, we get the first taste of the Philly native’s next street release in the form of lead mixtape single Young Blood. Here, Booth-approved rapper/producer Has-Lo‘s reverb-drenched guitar loops set the mood as Rocca tells the story of a young G with aspirations of illicit riches. A natural fit for the record’s smoky “noir-hop” aesthetic, Long Island phenom Roc Marciano showcases his own knack for gritty narrative on the guest tip. No Vacation for Murder has yet to receive a drop date, but fans can look forward to another single, Stormy Monday (ft. Has-Lo and The Kid Daytona), on April 9.
