DJ Khaled ft. Drake, Lil Wayne & Rick Ross - No New Friends (SFTB Remix)

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Boi-1da and Noah "40" Shebib
Album:

When you hit it big, you’ll find people who never previously gave you the time of day lining up around the block to be a part of your life. Flattering as all that attention undoubtedly is, opportunistic hangers-on tend not to make the most loyal homies. That’s why DJ Khaled and his colleagues have adopted a strict “No New Friends” policy; instead they’re sticking with their “day one n**gas.” The lead single off the We the Best head honcho’s next LP started life as a remix of Nothing Was the Same lead single Started From the Bottom, but departs from its source material drastically enough to be, more or less, a whole new jam. In addition to Drizzy‘s verse and chorus, delivered over boardwork by frequent collaborators Boi-1da and Noah “40” Shebib, the cut boasts original bars from Rick Ross and Lil Wayne. Suffering From Success, Khaled’s seventh solo LP, is slated to hit record stores and online retailers at an as yet-undetermined date in the near future. As always, fans can keep it locked for all the latest on the forthcoming project.
